Good news from the zoo in Berlin on 31 July 2011 brought a healthy rhinoceros Betty Nashörnchen to the world. Mom and the still nameless girl are doing well.

After a long three days brought in labor rhino Behan, 14 years old, 31 August 2010, a healthy calf was born. The little boy was named Ajang, which means in Nepali "Extraordinarily tall fellow." The name fits, but Ajang measures only 90 cm, weighed at birth is already running and already around 82 kg after 20 minutes. Mom and baby are doing well.

Panzernashornbub Tarun is already six months old. The little boy is growing and thriving, is already about one meter tall and weighs about 300 kg. Update 8th March 2010: The baby has got the name Tarun.
Joyous news from the Berlin Zoo : Indian Rhino Jhansi brought on 17 January 2010, at noon, a healthy male calf was born. It's after daughter Betty and son Jacob is the third baby of Jhansi. Father of the yet-unnamed Zwergerls Yodha is from the Berlin Zoo.
