Sundari in Nepal
Sundari, the name means "Beauty" in Nepali, born in 2003 in Nepal, learned with only a few months to get through by begging for food. It was in October 2003 at the age of a few months, found alone and aufgepeppelt of nurses. As they tried to make contact with people, Sundari soon became a tourist attraction at the Royal Chitwan National Park. Rhinos are just sweet little sooner or later, bigger and stronger. When they got by begging too little food, they just walked into the kitchen and "worried", the food itself.

So she came into the sanctuary for orphaned animals. There they should be prepared for reintroduction. But Sundi, as it is now called by their supervisors often was influenced too heavily on people. So you got a life in a small enclosure before the sanctuary. But fate had provided a better future for them.

Today ...
... Brings Sundari 968 kg on the scale (as of August 2010, June 2006: 731 kg) and sometimes even lies down with Jang and Mrs. Nilgau. She is in the midst of puberty, for a piece of banana and strokes but it is even to have a bad mood for days.

Medical Training
In order from an accessible and Sundari was harmless animals for their caregivers as possible, there are regular medical training with animal trainer, Dr. Eveline Dungl. How it works, you can be in an episode of the ZDF series Animal buddy -> watch online (follow on 28 May 2009 with training in Jang and Sundi (the contribution is divided, first part begins at about 7 minutes).
But it is also practiced every day. Before the animals are allowed to snack in the afternoon in the indoor facility, there is a short workout. This prevents that the two giants rush madly into the house and possibly race against a closed door yet.
