Joyful news from Basel on 23 July 2010 Panzernashornmäderl Henna was born. Henna and Ellora mom, 28 years old, are doing well. The little girl weighed about 60 kg at birth, is about three feet long and one white foot! Her left front legs are white, as in the small Seto Paitala, on 27 August 2009 was born in Nuremberg.
Basel: Quetta had stillbirth

Sad news from the Basel Zoo: the baby of the 17-year-old rhino Quetta came on the night of 13 to 14 July 2010 dead on the world. The birth itself was rapid and uneventful. Why the baby was born dead, an autopsy will clarify. After Batschii daughter, born 2nd September 2004, currently living in Madrid, it was the second baby of Quetta.
