Sad news from the Zoo Parc de Beauval, Nasi female Indian rhinoceros is the beginning of January 2012 crossed the rainbow bridge ...
Nasi, studbook No. 148, was born in Basel on 04.10.1988 (Father: Chitawan, 100, mother, Tanaya, 56). From 07/12/1980 to February 2010, she lived in Munich since 02/17/2011 in Beauval. After two stillbirths in 1999 and 1996, she brought daughter Nisha on 7/15/2001 (since 25.03.2004 in Benidorm) and son Beni on 31/07/2004 (since 22.08.2011 in Chester) to the world. Nasi was after only a year ago from Munich Beauval brought there so that she could recuperate their chronic foot problems. In early January 2012, they did not want to get up and had to be euthanized.
